Job search and our personal war

aiForget who you were there. Who did you work for? You know how to build, repair, cook - you will find a job, but you will have to learn simple phrases.
aiOur women were happy to work in the kitchen, cleaning in hotels, in gardens, because you can't get any other job without a Polish one. Teachers, lawyers, accountants, doctors experienced the situation hard. Larisa was the chief accountant in a large private company, for 35 years she submitted financial reports, calculated the salaries of hundreds of people at work. She was doing what she knew and loved and now it is all devalued.
aiAnd the doctor goes to the hospital as an ordinary nurse, because the son is 7 and the daughter is 12 and they have to be fed every day. They should study, not hide in the corridor from the bombings. And the husband stayed in Ukraine, works in a military hospital. And every morning she does not find a place for herself until she receives his "Hello, my love" in the messenger.

They don't shoot at you. It's just that you have a huge hole in your soul.

aiAnd now you notice that the apple tree is blooming, you inhale the aroma of spring, you sing songs in the local choir, you feel that life is returning to your body. And then the pain comes. You no longer cringe in fear at the sound of a plane in the sky, although trucks rumbling down the road are still frightening. But the pain from the loss of that past life and the complete unknown of the new one, which does not yet exist in essence, lives in you.
aiAnd friends remained there, they fight, volunteer, look for work, housing. And you send money for bulletproof vests, animal feed. Because it's harder for them there than it is for you here. They don't shoot at you. It's just that you have a huge hole in your soul and you live with this pain and try to fill it with what you find meaning in.
aiAnd then you see the first death of your good friend... Yuri???? No! Can not be. We agreed to show your daughter's clip on the air. And now the war is not only on TV, it tears away parts of you with each loss. The son of Iryna's friend, a former classmate, 27 years old, Rustam. God, the war is taking away our children! And colleagues...
