Let's Help Kids be Kids!

Problem
aiPlaying in the rubble.
aiOne of the hardest situations is when people's homes have been damaged and they have nowhere to go. Often they don't have the money to get their homes repaired professionally -- that is if a construction person could even be found. So being able to have fun outside is more important than ever for the kids, and the grownups too!

What we are doing to help
aiWe create great play spaces in de-occupied towns so children and parents can go out and have fun, worry free. We clear the area of mines and sharp or dangerous objects. And we install some kind of playground equipment. It doesn't have to be fancy for us to use our imagination and soar high!
aiTowns that have been controlled by Russians occupiers and then through the success of the Ukrainian military come back into Ukrainian control are so ready to bring happy laughter back into the air, for the kids and parents too!
aiThrough our network of volunteers, we can 'clean' the area plus source, purchase, transport, and install some kind of play structure. It can cost as little as $200. Of course, the fancier ones are more :)
aiWe have already purchased and installed 15 mini-play areas in de-occupied towns. And we're are not stopping. A donation of any amount adds up!

The Impact
aiImagine how great it feels to be able to simply go outside, to run and play again -- and be safe -- at least in the play area. We're not going to worry about a missile coming and exploding again.
aiIt lifts everyone's spirits to know that others recognise what we're going through and are joining us in recovering our physical and emotional space.
aiThank you, thank you for your contribution.
